Who are Redfox Contracting?

We are an umbrella company assisting contractors like you to gain more time, yet retain more net pay.

Is there a cost to join Redfox?

Applying to join Redfox is free. Once you are a Redfox employee, we will deduct a fee of £15 for each timesheet processed. 

Who do I send my timesheet to?

Once you are a Redfox employee, you will have access to a dedicated support team who will give you all the support and advice you need.

How do I get paid?

We pay youweekly, on a Friday by BACS. We can also offer a quicker, same day CHAPS payment on Fridays, for an additional £10.

Will you still charge me when I am on holiday?

The fee of £15 per week is only applicable when we process an agency timesheet on your behalf. If there is a week when you do not submit a timesheet, no fee is payable.

What happens if I want to leave?

You can leave at any time. We are confident that the level of service you receive will surpass your expectations and you will not want to leave. However, in the unlikely event that you do there are no penalties or any hidden costs and there is no minimum contract period.

What can I claim back as expenses?

Will I need receipts for my expenses?

Yes, you will need to forward us receipts for all your expenses, with the exception of subsistence expenses.

Other umbrella companies claim that they have special dispensation that will allow me to claim more expenses. Is this true?

No. This is not true. A dispensation relieves a company from reporting expense payments and benefits on a P11D form. The dispensation applies to the company's accounting practices rather than what you can claim as an individual.

How about insurance?

Our weekly fee is inclusive of £1m Professional Indemnity cover, £2m Public Liability cover and £10m Employees Liability cover, with no extra charge for offshore workers.  Please contact us if you need specific details of our insurance cover to meet an agency request.

Am I protected from investigation from H M Revenue & Customs if I register with an umbrella company?

No company can offer you complete protection against an HMRC investigation. However, we only pay expenses that you are legally entitled to, so you don't need to worry even if you are investigated (which is now an increasingly common occurrence).
